This song has a subtle sense of syncopation and development. As the song progresses and the layering of the piece builds, so too does the development of the harmony, the attention to detail of the sub bass, and the fine tuned qualities of the distortion and reverberation. The sampling only hints at some nonspecific source and is vague and obscure enough that it appears to come out of nowhere. These reflections and interpolations of other bits of music, creep out of the open space of the song that gets created by centering the bass in the mix the way that it does. The "possibility space" of dub music. Acousmatics.
